Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Taxagon LLC (“Taxagon”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through taxagon.co and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit a form, book a call, or message us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and what you tell us about your tax or accounting situation.
  • Information needed to provide services. If you become a client, we collect the financial and tax documents required to prepare your returns or maintain your books. These are exchanged through our secure client portal — please do not send tax documents through the public website.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and use cookies and similar technologies for site analytics and advertising measurement, including the Google Ads tag.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To match you with the right specialist and prepare a quote.
  • To send service updates and, where permitted, helpful tax content — you can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • To measure our advertising and improve the website.
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as website hosting, email delivery, scheduling, and messaging platforms), with professionals involved in delivering your engagement, and where required by law. Tax return information is used and disclosed only as permitted by IRC §7216 and related regulations.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services and meet record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transmission and access controls; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to records we are required to keep. To exercise these rights, email info@taxagon.co. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

About TaxagonNewsletterPricingGet in touchClient Portal

If you have a calculation error with your tax preparation that allows for a larger refund (or less liability) than the return we prepared, we will refund any fees you paid us to use our service to prepare that return, and you may use our service to amend your return at no additional charge. To qualify, the larger refund or smaller tax liability must not result from differences or errors in the data you provided, your election not to claim a deduction or credit, positions taken on your return that are contrary to law, or changes in federal or state tax laws after January 1.

If our tax preparation pro makes an arithmetic error that results in your paying a penalty or interest to the IRS that you would otherwise not have been required to pay, we will reimburse you up to a maximum of $10,000. Should you receive an audit letter from the IRS or state tax authority for a return filed through April, deemed accepted, we will provide you with informational guidance. Taxagon will not represent you in front of the taxing authority or offer legal advice. Any data shared is subject to applicable law and consent.
