Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of taxagon.co (the “Site”) and the services offered by Taxagon LLC (“Taxagon”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to them.

Our services

Taxagon provides tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, company formation, and related financial services through licensed CPAs and Enrolled Agents. Submitting a form or booking a call does not by itself create a client relationship; an engagement begins when we confirm the scope of work and you accept the quote for it. Fees are personalized to your situation and communicated before work starts.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate, and timely information and documents — returns and books are prepared from what you give us.
  • Review your returns and financial statements before they are filed or relied on, and tell us promptly if anything looks wrong.
  • Use the secure client portal for tax documents rather than email or the public website.

Accuracy guarantee

If you have a calculation error with your tax preparation that allows for a larger refund (or less liability) than the return we prepared, we will refund any fees you paid us to use our service to prepare that return, and you may use our service to amend your return at no additional charge. To qualify, the larger refund or smaller tax liability must not result from differences or errors in the data you provided, your election not to claim a deduction or credit, positions taken on your return that are contrary to law, or changes in federal or state tax laws after January 1.

If our tax preparation professional makes an arithmetic error that results in your paying a penalty or interest to the IRS that you would otherwise not have been required to pay, we will reimburse you up to a maximum of $10,000. Should you receive an audit letter from the IRS or a state tax authority for a return filed through April and deemed accepted, we will provide you with informational guidance. Taxagon will not represent you in front of the taxing authority or offer legal advice unless separately engaged to do so.

Intellectual property

The Site, its content, and the Taxagon name and logo belong to Taxagon LLC. You may not copy, republish, or use them commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taxagon's total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where a guarantee above expressly provides otherwise. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for outcomes caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided to us.

Third-party services

The Site links to third-party tools we use to serve you (for example scheduling, messaging, and the client portal). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Taxagon LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
